The extent of the works involved the phased removal of existing services to accommodate relocation of staff from Block MH. New Mechanical services installed included Air Conditioning, Heat Recovery Ventilation, and the upgrade of the Building Management System. Electrical services provided consisted of Power and Data systems, an Induction Loop, Audio-Visual installation and an energy efficient LED lighting system.
Harvey Group were responsible for the mechanical and electrical services installation at the newly refurbished Block MH and MQ at the University of Ulster, Magee Campus.
The new Games design building now provides a mix of specialist teaching spaces to enhance students’ learning experiences in designing, developing, and programming gameplay.
