Harvey Group today announced that it has raised over £24k for Northern Ireland Hospice over the past five years. Its recent golf day, just the latest in a long line of events to fundraise for the local palliative care charity, raised a fabulous £7,931.
Harvey Group recently hosted its charity event at Edenmore Golf Club in Craigavon, bringing together its clients, colleagues, and suppliers for a fantastic day in support of NI Hospice.
Jonnie Clarke, Managing Director of the Harvey Group, said: “At Harvey Group, we are proud to continue our support for NI Hospice. Its impact across communities in Northern Ireland is invaluable, and we remain committed to helping ensure that it can continue to provide the highest level of care and compassion to those who need it most.
“The day was more than just golf – it was about community, collaboration, and giving back to a cause that makes a real difference to families across Northern Ireland.”
“Thanks to the generosity of all involved, Harvey Group is delighted to have now raised an incredible £24,505.30 for NI Hospice over the years, including the fantastic amount raised from this year’s Golf Day, making a profound difference to families across Northern Ireland.”
Harvey Group was delighted to welcome Jessica Steele, Corporate Relationship Manager at NI Hospice, who delivered an inspiring presentation highlighting the vital work it does, and showing how donations directly support patients and families at some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Jessica said: “The Harvey Group Golf Day was once again a fantastic occasion, and it really shows the heart and commitment its team brings to supporting Northern Ireland Hospice. Over the years, its support has grown into a true partnership, one where the Harvey Group goes above and beyond to stand with us.
“This year’s total of almost £8,000 could contribute to a week of Children’s Hospice care for eight children, bringing comfort and support to them and their family by covering multiple therapy sessions and contribute to inpatient or nursing care; or it could help us pay for a week of Hospice at Home support for eight adult patients, providing the care and dignity that patients need to remain at home in their final days.
“The support Harvey Group has given and continues to give to local families to help ensure that no one has to face the hardest moments alone,” added Jessica. “NI Hospice is so deeply grateful for the difference Harvey Group continues to make in our community.”
