Wellcome-Wolfson Institute For Experimental Medicine is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built research facility located at Belfast City Hospital. Specialising in scientific research to develop cures for eye disease, diabetes, and the development of a global programme in understanding the genetics of complex chronic diseases. Harvey Group delivered the mechanical and electrical services for the new facility.

A high degree of specialist systems were required, and installation included HV transformer and LV distribution, PV array, generator, fire alarm, disabled refuge, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, data, containment, lighting, car park barriers, induction loops, lightning protection, sprinkler, specialist medical gases, fume extract, car park smoke ventilation, heating, cold rooms, BMS, air conditioning, underfloor heating, and water treatment plant.
